Girls' Team!

    The GSC Girls' Team is a very important part of the gym's overall program.  Our training includes compulsory skills from the USAG handbooks and optional skills from the FIG Code of Points.  GSC team coaching is done in a low-key format with emphasis on stretching and conditioning to maintain  an injury-free environment.

    USAG teams compete in the West Texas Region 1 and qualify for the North Texas State meet.  AGA (American Gymnastics Association) teams compete in the spring with optional routines.  Competitions are held in Wiichita Falls, McKinney, Arlington and other North and West Texas cities.

    Girls qualify for GSC teams by a strict skill advancement program.  For girls moving in from out of town, a skill evaluation will place them at the proper level on the GSC team.
